How you can help

At The Munster Lost and Found Pet Helpline, we are dedicated to improving animal welfare in Ireland. We make sure the stray pets that we give shelter to get the best possible veterinary care, and we will never let a healthy animal in our care be put down. We also run a vaccinate, spay and neuter program.

However, we’re facing unprecedented challenges year after year. Due in no small part to the economic circumstances Ireland is in, there are more abandoned pets than ever before, and fewer homes for them to go to. In order to continue our work, we rely on our wonderful supporters for their continued help and generosity. Here are a few ways you could help us out, and contribute to saving our four-legged friends. Every little helps, and we are so grateful to everyone that supports us!

Working together, we can do so much for our four-legged friends!

Fundraising Events

We’ve been lucky to have wonderful supporters, young and old, who’ve organised events from bake sales to table quizzes to raise much-needed funds for the helpline. If you’d like to run a fundraising event in aid of The Munster Lost and Found Pet Helpline, please click here to get in touch for advice on fundraising or for literature on the Helpline.

Foster Homes

One of our biggest needs is temporary accommodation for stray pets. You can foster a pet for anything from a weekend, to the time it takes to rehome it – the choice is yours. Either way, you’ll be making a huge difference to the life of a dog or cat.  If you are willing to offer a foster home, please click here to get in touch with us.

Buy some cards!

We have beautiful greeting cards available for sale, featuring dogs and cats rescued by the Munster Lost and Found Pet Helpline. They’re perfect as thank-you cards, birthday cards… the list goes on! You’ll be able to buy them online soon, but for now get in touch with us to buy them.

Animal of the Week

Ash is a 9 month old male whippet cross. He is a very friendly puppy and is very willing to learn. He loves other dogs and his favourite pastime is zoomies. He also loves his cuddles! Ash walks well on the lead and ignores distractions well for a puppy. Microchipped and fully vaccinated. Contact Lindsay on 086-2112850
