Found in Bantry wandering on market day, Friday 10th August

Description

Unneutered male collie cross, mostly black with distinctive white crow’s footprint on his chest, white left forepaw and white tippy toes on his other paws, around 2 years old. No collar, no microchip. Coat in mostly good condition. Loves people, kids. Interested in cats.

First seen yesterday, Friday 10th August, around Bantry town. Seen hit by two cars (tho seems to be none the worse for it) in the meantime and picked up by the pier today. Vet checked. Not bad on the lead. Very good natured dog.

He’s either strayed or been dumped at the market. If you recognise this dog and think you know the owner do let me know. If they’re looking for him, they’ll be delighted to have him back. If they dumped him they need to be prosecuted. Dumping animals is illegal.

If his people aren’t found in the next week he’ll be rehomed.
