Microchipping
Ensure you have your pet microchipped by a reputable party, e.g. your local vet.
Register the chip immediately, giving at least three contact numbers.
Check that the chip has been successfully registered by asking your vet to scan your pet and checking the microchip on the database.,
We recommend that chips are checked at least once a year, as they can slip, or even worse, fall out.
Ensure that your contact details on the database are kept up to date , especially if you move house or change phone number.
