Ministry of Agriculture Grant News 2024
We would like to thank the Minister of Agriculture, Food & Marine for the Animal Welfare Grant (€27,200) received in November 2024. We are delighted that the grant is a recognition of the dedication of our volunteers to helping those in need. As you can imagine it was quickly swallowed up by our ever mounting vet bills. In these unprecedented times our service is stretched to capacity all the time with no relief in sight. We endeavour to continue to run our rescue centre, helplines and offer those unfortunate pets, who find themselves needing us, the best care we can as they face the road to recovery. We aim to continue to rescue, reunite or rehome as many lost souls as we can.
