Description
Our sweet, friendly cat Crookshanks is missing from our home on Blarney Street, Cork city (near the Good Shepherd–our garden backs on to it). He was last seen by our nextdoor neighbour at about 8.45am on 10 Dec. We are really missing him. Even his sister cat is missing him. He’s normally in and out of the house all day, coming home for a long afternoon nap, and I keep him in overnight. So, this is really not like him at all.
Despite the name, Crookshanks is a black and white tuxedo cat with four white paws and white whiskers. He has some white hairs on his forehead and nose, but his face is mostly black, and his chin, bib and belly are white. His fur is really soft. He’s a neutered male, just over a year old, and he weighs about 4kgs. Unfortunately, his collar fell off a little while ago and I hadn’t replaced it yet. He is microchipped.
I know he cultivates back up homes, and I’ve alerted the three I know of.
Please, if you saw or see him or a cat meeting his description, even if it is not good news, get in touch: 0831908332. If you live near us, and you’ve a shed or green house or something that you closed on the 10th of December, please go check it in case he took shelter from the rain and got trapped.
