Collie type in Mallow

Described to me as a ‘Collie Type’?
Was still attached to His lead.
Tri coloured, black, white & brown (see pics)
Small to medium sized.
Neutered male.
Had an oily substance on his back which we have tried to clean (thanks Sandy!).
Very friendly now, but was nervous, hot & thirsty when found.
Very STRONG on the lead, may explain his escape?
Happy in the car.
Non reactive to dogs?
Vet has examined him and states him to be a young dog in good health and well fed.
No microchip or tag.
Proof of ownership will be required ie, whats his name, what material and colour are his collar & lead!

UPDATE: 2/7/14
VERY used to sitting in front seat of car, loves it!
Takes treats and food gently.
Happy in the house, knows what the couch is for, lol.
Confident, bouncy and loves my GSD bitch, but my GSD boy finds Him ‘a bit much’!
LIKES TO CHEW !!

As stated, found with lead attached – BUT, He’s Not good on the lead, the lead appears to be new?, but scuffed from being dragged on the road.
Wondering if seeing as how the schools are now out if some youngster decided to take him for a walk, and he pulled away – he IS strong on lead ?

Someone must be looking for Him
